Update:
Today Missy and Matt had promised to show me how Americans really celebrate 4th July. So they had invited some of their friends to meet us in the park, and we had food and a barbecue and found a suitable place to set up. Grilling food, chatting with the girls and realising that it's so easy to enjoy the company of old friends and it's good to meet new people. We had such a good evening that we decided a girls night out was in order before I leave the country again.
